In consultation with PFVMH regarding their urgent needs, it's very clear they require armoured vehicles to protect their volunteers in the most dangrous areas.
We are incredibly excited to announce that Jeff has secured three armoured vans in the UK These workhorses were recently retired as cash transfer vehicles and are in excellent condition. Now comes the fun part - turning them into ambulances!
In order to get ready for the frontlines, they need upgrades to certain aspects of their armour (under carriage specifically, to withstand IEDs and landmines). In addition, they need emergency lights and of course, stretcher mounts and seating in the back in order to treat patients.
Lots of work in the coming weeks, to say the least. But together, we will get it done!
